Task

Bayerische Hausbau has more than 60 years of history. In 1954, Josef Schörghuber founded this property company that is now well known far beyond the borders of Bavaria from his parent’s carpenter’s workshop. Whenever an event format with a long-term approach with the coming years in mind is sought, one thing is immediately clear: this company knows its craft. And the customers, business partners, and employees should experience this themselves.

Concept

Tradition is the trump card for this new event format. With „Experience Bavaria“ as their motto, the participants not only get insights into traditional and almost forgotten Bavarian crafts, but they can even make and show off their own handicrafts. Felting, pottery, glass blowing, millinery, fabric printing, basket weaving, dipping tobacco, encaustic painting – the tasting palette is huge. The Bavarian atmosphere in Paulaner Bräuhaus with its own micro-brewery fits perfectly with the theme and occasion of the evening. A harp provides a musical frame for the event.

Result

The exclusive customer target group, which is often invited to events, has already seen many large productions. We surprise them with an authentic local reception and grab the participants’ attention with the chance to gain kudos with their DIY efforts. Traditional craftsmen and women introduce themselves and encourage participants to try out their traditional arts. In this way, during the evening, unique masterpieces are made, which the guests can of course take home. This event with handmade sentimental value is a great success – and, at the express wish of Bayerische Hausbau, “Experience Bavaria“ will continue in the coming years as a series of events with varying themes such as music, cuisine and handicrafts.
